Dr Barbara

Barbara joined MyVet Byron Bay after making a sea change from Sydney. Barbara graduated from Murdoch University in 2008 and received the university medal for being the top student in her year. Barbara attained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in small animal medicine in 2012 and was awarded the membership medal. Barbara also completed a Masters in Small Animal Practice in 2015 which advanced her training in small animal medicine, diagnostic imaging and pathology.

Barbara enjoys all aspects of veterinary science particularly feline medicine, ultrasound and helping extend the quality of life of pets with cancer and other age-related health conditions. Barbara has been a vet for Pets in the Park in Sydney and now in Byron Bay, a registered charity that provides free veterinary care to the pets of homeless individuals. Outside of work, Barbara loves scuba diving, horse riding and spending time with her furry family of 3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 horses. Barbara looks forward to meeting all the wonderful clients and pets of Byron Bay.
