Veterinary Nurse – Byron Bay (Part-Time)

MyVet Byron Bay is the only small animal veterinary clinic in our beautiful coastal town, surrounded by beaches, hinterland and a vibrant café culture. We’re a small, friendly team passionate about providing professional, compassionate care to our local pet community.

Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join us in a permanent part-time role.

The Role

  • Part-time: 15 hours per week (2 days). Additional hours may be available

  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am–12:30pm)

  • Surgical and hospital nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring

  • Supporting vets with consults, diagnostics and procedures

  • Patient admissions/discharges, IV catheter placement, blood collection

  • Medication administration, imaging and dental assistance

  • High standards of patient care and infection control

About You

  • Cert IV Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years’ experience post-cert

  • A warm natural style who enjoys caring for animals

  • Good sense of urgency, attention to detail and communication skills

  • EzyVet experience desirable (not essential)
