Belated Christmas parties, farewells and the return of Dr Russ (sort of)

We've had a busy time here at MyVet Byron Bay of late. We held our annual 'end of year / christmas party' at Kouzina a couple of weeks ago (just a bit fashionably late!). A fun time had by all. It's always nice to get out of the clinic and have a chance to unwind and socialise together. Everybody loved the delicious greek food that was offered up. Highly recommend Kouzina if you haven't been yet!

There are a few changes happening in clinic at the moment. We have sadly said good-bye to Dr Susie, who is pursuing her own business venture and hopefully getting the chance to spend more time with her family, as well as Nurse Jess, who is moving to the beautiful Sunny Coast for her uni studies. We are so sad to see two fabulous staff members heading off and wish them nothing but the best!

In exciting news, we have nurses Rebecca and Hayley starting with, as well as Dr Alison who started back in January. We are so pleased to welcome these great additions to our team and know they look forward to meeting each and every one of you at some point.

We have also had Dr Russ back in clinic again after his 12 month stint away, which has been lovely. He is currently covering leave while Kinza is on holiday. Russ has decided not to come back in a fulltime capacity but will be popping in and out of the clinic when we need a vet. We are very happy to still have him with us from time to time!

... and that's all the big clinic news for now! We hope that you and your furry (or feathery / scaley) friends are doing well and have enjoyed the start of 2021. x
